Mallee Wines wins gold at the 2017 China Wine and Spirit Awards
SASD Connect listed business Mallee Estate has won four gold medals for their wine, including a double gold, at this year’s China Wine and Spirit Awards.
The Awards are the biggest and most prestigious wine and spirits competition in China, and is renowned internationally as one of the most influential.
The winery won double gold for their 2015 Mallee Estate Tempranillo, as well as gold for their 2015 Mallee Estate Pinot Noir, 2015 Mallee Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2015 Mallee Estate Shiraz.
Winemaker Jim Markeas said it was a great honour to win the awards.
“These awards not only give confidence to our Chinese consumers that our wines are of great style and quality but also allows to them to discover the Riverland region of South Australia as a great wine region of world.”
