Business to profit from valuing foreign students
Wines by Geoff Hardy have been featured as a success story in an article by the Adelaide Advertiser on the value of employing foreign students.
The company’s General Manager Richard Dolan initially hired a Chinese-born Adelaide University graduate on a 3-month contract several years ago, and has since seen exports to China grow to account for nearly 45% of turnover.
They are now growing their Chinese engagement by employing a Chinese speaking employee to work on their cellar door on weekends, and have hired an intern to work on building a Chinese specific website.
